PMC®-121 Series urethane rubbers
The PMC®-121 Series urethane rubbers feature convenient one-to-one by volume mix ratios. PMC®-121/30 Dry and PMC®-121/30 Wet are exceptionally strong and abrasion resistant for soft urethane mold rubbers. These rubbers will meet the stringent demands of production casting of wax, plasters, concrete, resins and epoxies. Vibrant colors can be achieved by adding So-Strong® Color Tints, available from Smooth-On. The dry version does not exude an oil and can be used for casting waxes, Smooth-On liquid plastics, gypsum plasters and other materials. The wet version contains a built-in release agent to aid in demolding hard plasters and concrete. PMC®-121/50 is a "wet-only" mold rubber that is long lasting and durable when used in a variety of applications including reproduction of ornamental plaster, precast concrete and ceramic case molds.

SMOOTH CAST 300 Series Urethanes
The Smooth Cast® 300 Series of liquid plastics are ultra-low viscosity casting resins that yield castings that are bright white and virtually bubble free. Vacuum degassing is not necessary. They offer the convenience of a one to one mix ratio (one part A to one part B by volume). Fully cured castings are tough, durable, machinable and paintable. They resist moisture and mild solvents. Applications for Smooth-Cast® Liquid Plastics include reproducing small to medium size sculptures, making prototype models, roto cast pieces, and special effect props.

Smooth-On's Brush-On® Urethane Series
Smooth-On's Brush-On® Series of mold rubbers are extremely versatile and are famous for their abrasion resistance and high tear strength. They have the convenience of a one-to-one mix ratio and are easy to mix and apply with a brush or spatula. Brush-On® rubber paints onto vertical surfaces without sagging and will cure with negligible shrinkage to durable rubbers that perform and last in production. Each will capture exact detail from any original model.

Brush-On® 40 is used for models with deep undercuts. Brush-On® 40 can be used to make glove molds. Brush-On® 50 and Brush-On® 60 possess superior abrasion resistance and tear strength and are ideal for casting concrete and hard plasters in applications where less flexibility is required. All three rubbers are suitable for reproducing sculpture, architectural restoration and production casting of concrete.
Brush-On® 35 Urethane Rubber is easy to mix and apply with a brush or spatula, paints onto vertical surfaces and will cure with negligible shrinkage to a durable rubber that performs in production. Applications for Brush-On® 35 include on-site architectural restoration molds, reproducing sculpture (lost wax process) and making special effects.

Crystal Clear® Series
Crystal Clear® Series resins are water white clear and made specifically for applications that require absolute clarity. These rigid urethane casting resins differ only in working and demold times.Low viscosity ensures easy mixing and pouring. Crystal Clear® products cure at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. Cured castings are UV Resistant and are not brittle. Vibrant colors and color effects are achieved by adding SO-Strong® color tints. Applications include encapsulation, making prototype models, lenses, sculpture reproductions, decorative cast pieces, jewelry, prototype models, special effects and props. Heat curing is essential to realize full physical properties. Read the Technical Bulletin for full details. |

SO-Strong® liquid urethane colorants
SO-Strong® liquid urethane colorants can be added to any Smooth-On liquid urethane rubber, urethane plastic or urethane foam (do not use with Smooth-On silicones). They can be used to create a variety of color effects for a wide range of material applications. For glowing fluorescent color effects, use Ignite colorants.SO-Strong® colorants are highly concentrated, offer excellent dispersion and consistent color. A very small amount will color a proportionally large amount of liquid urethane material. The more you add in proportion to the volume of liquid urethane, the more dramatic the color effect. Recommended loading range is .01% to 3% of total system weight. Do not overload the liquid urethane system or cure inhibition / oozing may occur. If this is your first time adding color to a urethane system, it is recommended that you test the color effect by adding a few drops to a small amount of material and observe the outcome.
