Mirroflex Panels

mirroflex.jpg Mirroflex's line of 3-D panel structures are available as fire-retardant ceiling tiles or full 4-feet-by-8-feet sheets (only .032thick-similar to HPL). All products are constructed from decorated,high-impact and extremely lightweight thermoplastic with formed designs and thermally infused color added for effect.

Our finishes include all of the popular brushed and polished metallics, a white paintable grade, many woodgrains, marbles, granites, and many other specialty patterns.

All structures are available in Mirror, Gold, Argent Silver, Cherrywood, Maple, Mahogany,or Copper finishes. The sheets can be laminated with techniques used for HPL's, such as contact cement, or can be supplied with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing.

All new designs feature bolder embossing techniques than the standard Mirroflex structure collection.See your local Industrial Plastics and Paints store for the full selection of Mirroflex products.

1. They are ultra-affordable, ultra-light, decorated thermoplastic panels that are chemical, stain and impact resistant;
2. Fire retardant (however they are not to be exposed to heat environments over 140O F as they could deform);
3. Use easy-to-apply adhesive;
4. All panels have a unique overlap feature that makes seams invisible;
5. Available with Color matching Universal Trim Strips to finish cut edges;
6. Suitable for wet environments

  It is recommended to use a water based contact adhesive. Non-flammable, solvent, acrylic based adhesives are also acceptable. It is important that the adhesive used is suitable for thermoplastic material and the substrate to which it will be applied. Test the contact to insure its' suitability and compatibility with your specific application.
The same gluing methods should be used as those for working with high pressure laminates. It is extremely important that both surfaces be clean. Contact cement should be applied to both surfaces and allowed to dry according to the glue manufacturers' directions so that all solvents evaporate before actual gluing takes place.
