Powerfil is a two component thixotropic epoxy/ polyamide gel. To make Powerfil we combine our G-1 Wooden Aircraft Epoxy with special thickeners. The thickening agents are not fillers and do not reduce strength. Powerfil is for bonding items which do not fit perfectly or it can be used as an extremely hard, tough filler. Powerfil provides good wetting without sagging and it does not shrink once cured.

  Powerfil can be machined, sanded, drilled and painted. It is waterproof and has excellent chemical resistance. It will not crack or peel. Powerfil is tintable and is compatible with most paints. Powerfil should be used on dry surfaces and cured at room temperature. For cool and damp applications see Powerbond.

Product Uses:

Wood to Wood   - Repairing and filling wooden boats and checked glue lam beams or logs.
Wood to Fiberglass  - Bonding archery bows or wooden members to the inside of fiberglass boats.
Fiberglass to Fiberglass - Bonding hull to deck oints or filling plastic autobody parts. Fiberglass pipe to fiberglass pipe.
Metal to Wood  - Bonding fittings, brackets, rebar or fasteners into wooden beams for log building construction.
Metal  - Filling and fairing steel boats. Bevelling welds. Non-shrinking, non-water absorbing metal autobody filler for car restorations.
Rock  - Bonding granite or marble to itself or other surface for counters  and decor .
Porcelain  - Repairing and filling all sinks, toilets and basins.
Ceramic  - Repairing chips to cast iron bathtubs, dishwashers and appliances.
